About the 2024 calendar
The leap day lands on Thursday, February 29. That single extra day is why 2024 does not end on the weekday it started on, and why a wall calendar printed for any other year goes wrong from the end of February onwards. Fixed dates do not move, but the weekday under them does. In 2024, Christmas Day is a Wednesday, July 4th a Thursday, Halloween a Thursday.
