About the monthly calendar layout

The printable monthly calendar is the workhorse. One month per page, large day cells, twelve pages for a full year. If you are writing appointments by hand, tracking shifts, or running a chore chart on the fridge, this is the layout that gives you somewhere to write.

Set the year and paper size, then download the PDF and print the months you need. You do not have to print all twelve at once. Many people print a quarter at a time and keep the rest in the file, which wastes less paper when plans change.

Because a single month has a whole page to itself, day cells stay generous at either paper size. That makes this the most forgiving layout to print. A4 and US Letter are close enough in area that the difference shows up only at the margins. Landscape gives wider cells that suit short notes across the week, while portrait gives taller cells that suit stacked entries in one day. Pick whichever matches how you write.
